Five years living AI every day.
We founded a consultancy to make it useful.
Olixid is three AI engineers who decided not to wait for graduation. We founded the firm in 2023, started a student-run consultancy in 2024, and worked with dozens of clients. Because AI is happening now.
We don't sell AI. We solve problems with it.
“AI is the next revolution in computing.”
The web changed everything 25 years ago. Commerce, services, the way we work. AI will do the same. We didn't get to be part of the first revolution. We decided to be actors in this one — and help businesses do the same.
“Humans must remain at the centre.”
We don't replace anyone. We remove repetitive tasks, manual processing, wasted hours. So people can focus on what they do best. AI makes work better. That's why we do this.
“It's far more complex than it looks.”
Everyone thinks AI means plugging in a model and it works. In reality there's poorly structured data, fragile prompts, hallucinating models, runaway costs. We've spent five years learning these pitfalls. That's why we exist.
Three profiles. No fixed roles.
We met at EPITA, built the student consultancy together, and decided to keep going. We can all scope a project, code an agent, or present a diagnostic to a board. That's how we work.

Louis Romain
He founded Olixid in 2023, aged 20. Not on a whim: because he saw SMEs being sold dreams by people who'd never deployed a model in production. His thing is turning a vague need into a system that runs.

Guillaume Rodriguez
First to join Louis, early 2024. Together they founded the student consultancy and structured the first offerings. What drives him: understanding how a business actually works, to integrate AI where it makes a difference. Not beside it.

Quentin Gillet
Joined in 2025 after a string of student consultancy missions. Dual degree in AI engineering at EPITA and management at EM Lyon. The profile that bridges tech and business. What he checks: that what we deliver is still standing six months later.
Founding a student consultancy is founding a company.
Except you have to leave.
In 2024, we founded EPITA's AI student consultancy. Not a student club. A real organisation: invoiced clients, signed contracts, deliverables in production. In two years, dozens of engagements, dozens of meetings — commercial, technical, scoping.
We learnt to sell, to deliver, to manage clients who expect results. We made mistakes, we corrected them. Olixid comes from there: not from a course, not from an incubator. From the field.
And alongside that, five years tracking AI every day. Every model, every breakthrough, every limitation. Not out of obligation. Because we're convinced it's the technology that will most transform work over the next ten years.

SMEs are the ones with the most to gain.
Large corporates have 50-person data teams. SMEs have none of that. Yet an AI agent that processes orders or a visual quality control system changes the game from month one.
The real problem is that AI looks simple. Everyone promises results in two clicks. In reality, without proper guidance, it's the fastest way to burn: wasted budget, unused tool, frustrated team. We're here to make sure that doesn't happen.
If AI isn't the right answer to your problem, we'll tell you. Every pound invested must produce a visible return.
Structured enough to have processes worth automating. Agile enough for it to change everything.
If it doesn't work in 11 weeks, we stop. No tunnel projects.
